General terms and conditions Trésor en Bois
- General
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations, bookings and stays at the Chambre d'hôtes Trésor en Bois.
1.2 By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
- Booking & Confirmation
2.1 A reservation is final once we have confirmed the booking in writing (by e-mail).
2.2 We reserve the right to refuse a reservation if there is any doubt about the origin or accuracy of the request.
- Deposit & Payment
3.1 When booking, a deposit of 25% of the total stay is due.
3.2 The deposit must be paid within 7 days; if not, the reservation may be cancelled.
3.3 The remaining amount will be paid on arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 The bill for extras (drinks, tourist tax, meals, etc.) will be paid on departure.
- Cancellations & No-show
4.1Cancellation by guest:
Up to 60 days before arrival. The deposit is fully refundable, no fees.
60 to 30 days before arrival: 5% will be deducted from the deposit and 20% will be refunded.
30 to 7 days before arrival: the deposit (25%) will be retained.
7 days to arrival / No-show: 100% of the total stay will be charged.
4.2 Cancellation by the accommodation
In exceptional cases (e.g. force majeure), the accommodation may cancel. The guest will receive a full refund of the deposit, or an alternative date will be offered by mutual agreement.
4.3 Changes in dates: dates can be changed free of charge up to 30 days before arrival, subject to availability.
- Arrival & Departure
5.1 Check-in is possible between 16:00 and 20:00 (unless otherwise agreed in advance).
5.2 Check-out no later than 11 a.m.
5.3 A fee may be charged for late check-out.
- Use of accommodation
6.1 The guest should treat Trésor en Bois and inventory with care.
6.2 Damage caused by the guest must be compensated.
6.3 No additional persons are allowed to stay overnight without the prior consent of Trésor en Bois.
6.4 Pets are not allowed.
6.5 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the buildings.
- Breakfast and facilities
7.1 Breakfast is included at the Chambre d'hôtes unless otherwise stated. Breakfast is not included at the gîtes.
7.2 Use of garden, swimming pool and other facilities is at your own risk.
7.3 Children must be supervised at all times.
- Liability
8.1 Trésor en Bois is not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests' property.
8.2 Trésor en Bois is not liable for bodily injury caused during the stay, unless due to gross
negligence.
8.3 Trésor en Bois is not responsible for disruptions in water, electricity or internet that are beyond its control.
- Privacy
9.1 Personal data will be treated confidentially and used only for booking and administration purposes.
9.2 Data will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, unless required by law.
- Applicable law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
10.2 Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district where the B&B is located.
